Shah Alam, Silver Rupee, 11.07g, Gulshanabad Mint, AH 1122/ RY 4 (Not listed in KM). Serval punches. Very fine, extremely rare. The area around Nasik was in hands of the Mughal commander of Junnar at this time and most likely the mint was operated under his jurisdiction. It is one of the rarest mints for the ruler, and the coins constitute its very first issues. The mint in late 18th century became very prolific under the Marathas.
